Learning the Scientific Method.Sturgeon City Science Institute is a week-long program open to rising 9th graders. The Institute, which is held during the summer, allows students to form teams to evaluate a hypothesis using the scientific method. The Team members gather information in Wilson Bay, in the New River, on the beach and at a freshwater lily pond as well as other locations. They get dirty, wet and hot – the same experiences real scientists experience.

Sturgeon City Student Leadership Development Institute
Designed to help build young leaders by the empowerment of skills and an understanding of our community. Open to 9th grade graduates, this summer program provides team building and the development of personal skills.
