Gearing Up for some 'wet' shooting

 Mediamakers is an intense experience in new media technologies, video, photography and the basics of good journalistic writing. Students will produce daily photography, video and writing that may be used for web, print and TV on issues concerning Sturgeon City. Daily activities include shadowing the other institutes and covering what they are doing through the use of film, stills and reporting. The skills that the students will learn will be gained through an intense learning experience. There will be a deadline everyday for a student to meet and what is produced will be put online for all to see. In addition to the work above, the students will be writing articles for the wordpress site and blurbs for the newspaper which is produced daily and distributed to all the students of Sturgeon City at the end of the day. Students must express a sincere desire to be pat of the program and be willing to work hard while having fun. A review is required for acceptance. Open to juniors, seniors and graduates.
